Olivia Foley led led the team with 9 points, Tyler Scheid and Carlee Crabtree had 8 apiece, and Emilee Smoker, our McDonald’s Player of the Game, had 6 points and a team-high 12 rebounds. Coldwater improves to 11-1 overall; at 5-1 in the Interstate 8, the Cardinals remain tied with Harper Creek and Jackson Northwest atop the league standings.
BRONSON, MI – Bronson remains undefeated and in first place in the Big 8 following their 63-39 win against visiting Quincy. Keona Salesman had a game-high 18 points and 7 rebounds, Kiera Lasky scored 15 points, and Payton Robinson added 13 as the Vikings improve to 7-2 overall, 5-0 in the Big 8. Katie Rathbun had a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds for the Orioles, who slip to 6-4 overall, 2-3 in the Big 8.
UNION CITY, MI – Union City picked up its first league win of the season with a 44-33 victory against visiting Reading. Allison Adams had 15 points and 9 rebounds, and Autumn Carpenter added 10 points and 5 boards, as the Chargers improve to 5-6 overall, 1-4 in the Big 8.
