COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners approved a request from County Clerk Terry Kubasiak Tuesday to spend $5,500 out of the clerk’s budget on new software for election night reporting.
Election Magic was being used by the clerks office but they have discontinued service with the new election equipment now being used.
Election Source is the current vendor that is being used for the new election equipment and programming so the reporting module is compatible with the rest of the software.
In other business from Tuesday’s meeting, commissioners approved a request to have the Vietnam Veteran’s Remembrance by the flag area at the Branch County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m. March 29, 2018. This will be the same type of ceremony that has been conducted in recent years.
