BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Christians today are solemnly marking Good Friday, the traditional date when Jesus Christ was crucified outside Jerusalem. In Branch County, the Good Friday Way of the Cross event is happening this afternoon in Bronson at 3:00 p.m.
The dramatic reenactment of the passion of Christ with the walk down US-12 begins at the Congregational Church and makes its way to the St. Mary’s of Assumption Catholic Church for a brief unity service.
In observance of Good Friday, the Branch County Courthouse is closed while offices for the City of Coldwater and the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities close today at 12 noon.United State financial markets are also closed today.
