DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The Milwaukee Bucks maintained their standing as the only team not to lose back-to-back games by beating the Pistons 115-105 in Detroit Tuesday night.
Giannis Antetokounmpo put up 21 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds in the win. Eric Bledsoe had 20 points and seven dimes while Pat Connaughton added 16 off the bench. The NBA-leading Bucks are 13-and-0 following a loss and are 36-and-13 overall.
Reggie Jackson had a game-high 25 points for the Pistons, while Andre Drummond had 20 and 13 boards. Blake Griffin added 18 points, nine assists and seven rebounds in the loss. Luke Kennard came off the bench to score 19 points.
Detroit lost all four games to Milwaukee this season and fell to 21-and-28. The Pistons continue their four-game homestand against Dallas Mavericks tomorrow night.
Meantime, don’t look for the Now Orleans Pelicans to pull the trigger on an Anthony Davis deal before next week’s trade deadline. ESPN reports the team will listen to all offers for the All-Star center, but won’t do a trade before then unless the return package is overwhelming.
Davis has told New Orleans he won’t sign an extension and wants out. The Los Angeles Lakers are considered his top suitors and believe he would sign an extension there.
Davis is averaging 29.2 points, 13.3 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game this season.
