COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of this summer’s major road construction projects in Branch County is scheduled to start next Monday, June 4.
The Michigan Department of Transportation will be repairing a seven mile stretch of I-69 from the Indiana line to near Central Road. The work is scheduled to be finished by August 17, 2018.
The $3.3 million project will include joint resealing and drain repairs.
M-DOT says the new concrete pavement will provide motorists with increased safety and a smoother ride.
There will be single-lane closures on I-69 during construction. One lane will remain open at all times.
