UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – In Branch County high school sports, a two day break for the New Year’s holiday ends today with the first action of 2015 happening in Union City with boys and girls basketball as the Chargers host Battle Creek St. Philip. And then it will be a busy Saturday in wrestling. Coldwater will be at the Parma Western Invitational, Bronson is at the Hastings Invitational and Union City hosts its annual Paul Smeltzer tournament.
Also tomorrow, in gymnastics, Coldwater is at the Rockford Invitational.
