COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It appears drunk drivers stayed off the roads in Branch County for the most part on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, at least based on the number of them who ended up behind bars. In fact, over the 2 days, a total of just 3 people were booked at the county jail.
On Wednesday, the one arrest was made on a domestic violence charge and then Thursday, the only operating under the influence arrest happened when a driver was pulled over by Michigan State Police. The other arrest on New Year’s Day was for driving with a suspended license.
