COLDWATER TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Caught in the act. Branch County Sheriff’s Deputies, acting on a tip, interviewed the owner of a home at 330 South Michigan Avenue in Coldwater Township Thursday afternoon. After consenting to a search, deputies discovered four batches of meth in the bathtub and saw that the homeowner was getting ready to cook another batch. Two suspects were arrested and lodged in the Branch County Jail; their names were withheld pending arraignment in District Court.
