LANSING, MI (WTVB) – Branch County’s new State Representative in the Michigan House, Republican Eric Leutheuser of Hillsdale, settled in yesterday for his first ever session in the chamber as the State House convened for its opening session of 2015. Leutheuser said he’s looking to find areas of common interest with his fellow lawmakers so they can get things done and make government work for the people.
Leutheuser also said that he’ll focus on common sense solutions, which he stressed in his election campaign, as well as defend the areas of traditional values that are so important to his constituents. His 58th District covers Branch and Hillsdale Counties and he succeeds term limited GOP Representative Ken Kurtz.
