LANSING (WTVB) – Super Bowl Sunday may not be an official holiday, but it’s often treated like one, with many people throwing Super Bowl parties to watch the big game and there is usually a lot of drinking. AAA spokesperson Susan Hiltz says despite that, last year game day was a very good day in Michigan with not a single alcohol related death in the state. In fact only 4% of the crashes involved drinking. She says those are numbers to aspire to this year as well.
