COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There’s still time, but not much, just a few hours, for those Branch County residents who may be facing a couple of deadlines today. First on the list, 2013 county property taxes, and if you haven’t paid up yet, you have until 5 pm this afternoon to get it done, payment in full, to the Branch County Treasurer’s Office. Failure to do so will put your property into forfeiture.
And don’t forget the pooch. Friday is the last day to buy a dog license without paying a penalty. If you get the license today, the cost is still $20, or $10 if the dog is neutered or spayed. There is a two dollar discount for seniors with spayed or neutered dogs. After March 1, 2015, the dog license in Branch County will cost you $40.
