COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School Symphonic Band will again be advancing to the State Band Festival, after receiving an overall One rating at the District Band Festival in Three Rivers Friday night. The Concert Band received an overall Three rating Saturday afternoon.
Bands at the festival have to play three prepared pieces before judges, then performance another song in the sight reading portion of the competition after just 5 minutes of preparation.
The state Band Festival is expected to be held May 1, 2015.
