COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater school officials are beginning to pick up the pace of campaigning for passage of the two school bond issues that will be decided at the polls in May. School Superintendent Dr. Tina Kerr says so far so good with a lot of positive feedback.
According to Kerr, the people that have probably been negative about the proposals are going to be no voters so the campaign isn’t going all out to change their minds. Instead, their goals at the schools and for the citizen committees working for passage of the bonds is primarily to get the facts out in the community because Kerr says there have been a lot of misconceptions concerning what are the costs and what building projects are included., but the bottom line is having people make an educated vote.
Kerr spoke Monday night to the Coldwater City Council.
