COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Widespread dense fog Wednesday morning created hazardous driving conditions around the Branch County area, with a Dense Fog Advisory from the National Weather Service in effect until 10 am. Most Branch County schools originally planned on a two hour delay for classes, then decided to completely cancel classes by 8 am when it became evident the fog wasn’t lifting quickly..
Coldwater, Quincy, Bronson, Pansophia Academy, St Mary’s Assumption in Bronson, and St Charles Borromeo School in Coldwater all cancelled classes, while Union City stayed with a two hour delay.
