MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – A Calhoun County prosecutor has issued three felony embezzlement by a public officer counts, each a 10 year felony, against Scott Locey, the former director of its Office of Veterans Affairs. Locey is accused of asking veterans and their families for gifts and cash in exchange for the procurement of benefits.
Locey resigned in January after the allegations first surfaced. WOOD TV-8, in Grand Rapids found e-mails and messages that might implicate Locey going back for years.
