COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Just in advance of one of the busier travel holidays of the year, gas prices have taken leap at many pumps in Branch County and across Southwest Michigan. Prices have gone up between 20 and 30 cents a gallon to just under $2.50 per gallon at many of stations.
According to GasBuddy.com this morning, the avergaee price of a gallon of unleaded fuel in Michigan is $2.42. The lowest average price in the nation is in Chattanooga, Tennessee at $2.03 per gallon.
