SHERWOOD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two motorcyclists were seriously injured last night in Branch County when they collided with a car along Tuttle Road in Sherwood Township. It happened around 6:45 p.m. near Prairie Rose Lane. One of the cyclists had to be flown out from the scene by Air Care for treatment at Bronson hospital in Kalamazoo while the other one was transported by ambulance to Bronson.
Michigan State Police say the car was trying to turn left onto Tuttle from Prairie Rose Lane when it was struck by the 2 motorcycles that were reported to have been driving side by side. The two women in the car were treated at the scene and released with minor injuries.
Troopers said the names of the two men driving the motorcycles are being withheld pending an update from Bronson on their conditions.
