SHERWOOD (WTVB) – A major bridge project in Branch County is set to begin on Monday, April 20th. Branch County Road Commission manager Trent Arver announced on Tuesday the schedule for the nearly 2-million dollar Athens Road bridge replacement over the St. Joseph River in Sherwood Township. The road will be closed to all traffic. The detour route is Athens Road to Arney Road to Oliverda Road to Blossom Road and back to Athens Road. The planned completion date for the project is at the end of August.
