COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In Branch County high school sports, Thursday’s baseball in Union City between the Chargers and Parma Western was rained out and rescheduled for this afternoon. The only other spring break week games for county teams are set for tomorrow. In baseball, Coldwater will be hosting their annual Southern Michigan Bank and Trust Invitational while in softball, Bronson plays at the Comstock Invitational.
Bronson senior Kinslea Blouin and Union City sophomore Rachel Wing are part of the 13 player Battle Creek Enquirer 2015 All-Area Girls basketball team which was announced Thursday. Selected for honorable mention were Kendall Galloway and Carlee Smoker of Coldwater, Skyler Sobeski of Bronson, Katie Spalding of Quincy, and Haley Harty of Union City.
