COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Tomorrow is an election day in Michigan. Proposal-One, the state’s complicated road-funding issue has gotten most of the attention, thanks to the support of a multi-million dollar TV ad campaign and a fair share of notable endorsements. But there are a number of local school funding questions on the ballot as well around the state including the pair of bond issues for the Coldwater School District.
Also in Branch County, there’s a building and site sinking fund 6 year renewal of 3.5 mills for Union City Community Schools. County residents who live in the Reading School District of Hillsdale County will also vote on a building and site sinking fund 5 year renewal proposal for 1.9 mills.
The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
