COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Police have arrested a suspect in a pair of computer crimes. 24-year old Brandon Allen Eggleston of Springfield, Michigan was taken into custody Friday and arraigned Monday in Branch County District Court. Count 1 alleged Eggleston used telecommunications services for malicious use while Count 2 was for computer usage to commit a crime. He also faces 4 counts of probation violation.
Eggleston served 6 months in the Branch County jail in 2013 for third degree criminal sexual conduct. According to city police, Eggleston is accused of making threats on Facebook to a prior CSC victim.
Bond for Eggleston was set at $10,000. His next court appearance is set for May 29th.
