COLDWATER (WTVB) – Droughts, twisters, severe winters, even an earthquake. It almost seems like nature has been turned up several notches, so it should be no surprise that we are experiencing what some are calling a “Pollen Tsunami” this spring. Everything seems to be blooming at once and if the trends continue as they have been, it’s going to get worse and not better. That’s the word from allergist Dr. William Reisacher and he has this advice: get a good anti-histamine, take showers, and hole up indoors between 5 and 10 a.m. when pollen counts are highest. He says it seems like global warming is making the allergy season last longer too.
