COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Just ahead of the long Memorial Day holiday weekend, gas prices are continuing to rise in Michigan, according to the latest survey of gas stations statewide by AAA Michigan. The auto club pegs the average in the state at $2.62 per gallon, up a dime from a week ago.
Detroit’s average is $2.63, while the lowest prices in the state are in Flint at $2.58. Ann Arbor’s average of $2.66 is the highest in the state, while the national average stands at $2.70 per gallon.
Prices at Coldwater area stations rose from $2.52 per gallon yesterday to $2.61 this morning.
