KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – Consumers Credit Union has announced two new hires, including Betsy Loeks as Marketing Project Coordinator. Loeks brings over 10 years of industry experience to Consumers Credit Union. Her responsibilities will largely include assisting with website maintenance, writing, and graphic design. Holding a Bachelors Degree of Journalism from Franklin College, Loeks comes to Consumers Credit Union after most recently working for Kinexus. Preceding her time with Kinexus, she worked as a communication specialist for Azon USA, Inc., and as a copywriter at RHB Advertising Agency.
Kris McWilliams has been named Mortgage Loan Officer by Consumers Credit Union. McWilliams brings over 10 years of industry mortgage lending experience to the credit union. In his new position, McWilliams will help members in Portage achieve homeownership with a great home buying and mortgage lending experience. Holding a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University, McWilliams most recently worked as a Loan Officer for Lake Pacor Home Mortgage. Prior to his time at Lake Pacor Home Mortgage he was a Loan Officer for PrimeLending, as well as a Home Mortgage Consultant for Wells Fargo. Already a mortgage lending leader in Southwest Michigan, the addition of McWilliams will further help Consumers Credit Union remain a source of local mortgage servicing to individuals in Southwest Michigan
