COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of the Coldwater School District’s most prestigious awards has been presented to an eighth grader from Legg Middle School. This year’s Middle School winner of the Axner S. Olson Citizenship Award is Ella Budd, the daughter of Jeff and Rhonda Budd. Candidates were selected based on student nominations and votes from both students and staff at LMS. Characteristics such as leadership, fairness, helpfulness, and an overall positive attitude were considered in the voting process. This year the committee chairs were Diane Moyer and Deb Wilkinson.
