COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It’s a big week in the life of a veteran Coldwater firefighter. Lieutenant Jack Trayling returns to work tomorrow nearly six months following an off-duty accidental fall that left him critically injured. Trayling had a subcontractor job hanging curtains from a scissor lift inside a greenhouse at Mastronardi’s in Coldwater when the incident occurred January 25, 2015. He suffered multiple arm and facial fractures and a broken foot.
A Facebook post Tuesday on the Coldwater I.A.A.F.F. Local 2555 site said they all wish him well in his return. The local also gave a special thanks to temporary full time firefighter Paul Searing, noting “You did a fantastic job filling in on B Platoon while Jack recovered”.
