ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – Some scary moments Friday afternoon at the Wells Fargo Bank branch on North Wayne Street in Angola. A 52-year-old man walked into the lobby, tried to chain the front doors shut, and demanded to speak to the FBI while holding a container with an unknown substance. The suspect, later identified as Kurt Hennig of Angola, was taken into custody by Angola Police and Steuben County Sheriff’s Deputies. The unknown substance, meanwhile, was determined to be neither explosive nor dangerous. Hennig is currently lodged in the Steuben County Jail on $2500 bond and faces a preliminary charge of criminal trespassing.
