QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – A mobile home in Branch County’s Butler Township was destroyed by fire Sunday. No one was inside the structure when the blaze broke out at 1047 Annin Road early yesterday afternoon. The alarm came in shortly after 1:30 p.m. and Quincy firemen found the home engulfed in flames when they reached the scene west of Clarendon Road.
There’s no word on the cause of the fire although the Michigan State Police Coldwater Post was called to investigate the possibility that it was suspicious in nature. The last Quincy fire truck didn’t clear until nearly 7 p.m. Sunday night. The Allen Fire Department provided mutual aide.
No injuries were reported.
