UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Union City Police Department says it’s looking for tips from the public to help solve two break-ins at local businesses earlier this month. The Wash King Laundry at 103 Charlotte Street was broken into in the early morning hours of July 5t, 2015. Entry was gained through the side of the building and a coin machine was broken into with money being taken.
On July 6, the Bucket Bar at 104 Coldwater Rd was entered just after 4:00 a.m. Someone went through a window and a vending machine was broken into with money being taken. The lone suspect is described as a male with a medium build, wearing jeans and a hoodie style sweatshirt who left the scene on foot north on Broadway St. toward High St.
The Union City Police Department is currently analyzing video of the crime, along with evidence left at the scenes. If anybody has information related to either crime, contact the village police department at (517)741-9191.
