ALLEN, MI (WTVB) – Police have made a big pot bust just east of Branch County in HIllsdale County’s Allen Township. Sheriff’s deputies from Hillsdale County acting on an anonymous tip Tuesday went to the 6,700 block of Hallett Road south of Allen near M-49 and confiscated a total of 69 marijuana plants, many of them near maturity with an estimated value, when mature, of nearly $70,000.
Also seized were processed marijuana and $8,000 cash. No arrests were reported.
The incident has been turned over to the Hillsdale County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Team and a report will be forwarded to the county prosecutor for review and disposition.
