COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – There were minor injuries in a structure fire Sunday night in Coldwater. Firefighters were dispatched around 10:15 p.m. with reports of heavy smoke in a second floor hallway at the Coldwater Crossing Apartments at 30 West Park Avenue.
Firemen discovered the smoke was coming from apartment 219 where Nancy Hoffman lives. She was revived by firemen and removed from the apartment to be taken to the Community Health Center of Branch County for treatment.
The smoke was caused by food burning on a stove and there was no damage reported.
