QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State Police say a Quincy area man and woman are facing a half dozen felony charges in connection with a meth lab operation discovered last month at a home in Quincy Township.
34-year old Melissa Sue Wiley and 35-year-old Chad Wiley turned themselves in yesterday at the Branch County Jail. Troopers say on July 9th they found suspected methamphetamine materials outside the residence at 420 Ridge Road and then further investigation revealed a meth lab had been maintained at the house.
In addition, a charge of family abuse neglect-cruelty was included when they were booked at the jail on Tuesday. It’s alleged a female minor was living with the Wiley’s in the presence of a meth lab operation.
A District Court probable cause hearing on the charges is scheduled for October 8th.
