COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Cardinal varsity high school football team had hoped to play their season opener at home coming up Friday night against Hastings, but because the installation of the new all-purpose synthetic turf at Cardinal Field is not expected to be done in time, Friday’s contest has been moved to Trine University in Angola.
Friday’s game will still be a 7 p.m. kickoff at Fred Zollner Athletic Stadium. Live coverage begins with our pregame show at 6:30 p.m. Friday on AM 1590 and FM 95.5 WTVB.
