OLIVET, MI (WTVB) – There has been another report of a window being blown out in a car, possibly by a projectile along I-69, but this time in Eaton County. It happened about 4 p.m. Thursday north of Olivet.
There were no injuries, but because it is similar to reports along the same interstate in Branch County and along I-94, they contacted the Calhoun County Major Crimes Task force and they responded to the scene. Patrols were beefed up in the area and they are asking motorists to also remain vigilant and to report suspicious activities.
Calhoun County Sheriff Matt Saxton says if your vehicle is hit by a projectile, don’t stop. He says note the mile marker where the incident took place and then drive on to the next exit and call 9-1-1.
