QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – It appears it was a mostly safe Labor Day weekend around Branch County on the roads and in the water, at least until last night when there was serious rollover pickup truck accident in Butler Township, where the driver was pinned under the vehicle before being freed by Quincy firemen.
The accident happened on King Road near Dean Road around 8:30 p.m. Monday. The driver was taken to the Community Health Center of Branch County and then transferred to Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.
No name was available. Michigan State Police are investigating the crash.
