COLUMBUS, OH (WTVB) – Ohio State managed to stay No. 1 in the AP Top 25 after hanging on to beat Indiana 34-27, but Michigan State slipped from second to fourth following their close call 24-20 victory at home over Purdue. Moving up two spots each into second and third place were TCU and Baylor. Also advancing was Michigan, up 4 spots to 18th after the 4-1 Wolverines blanked Maryland 28-0. Coming up Saturday, Michigan will host undefeated Northwestern, which is ranked 13th.
