COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities has issued an e-mail scam alert. Not a lot of details were included in the alert sent out Tuesday afternoon. City officials said fraudulent e-mails from the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities have recently been reported.
City officials say if anyone has received a suspicious CBPU e-mail, it should be disregarded immediately. They stress that the CBPU or the City of Coldwater will never ask for your password under any circumstances.
