BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – It seems meth lab seizures in Branch County have declined in recent months but yesterday, Sheriff’s Deputies made an arrest and said evidence of methamphetamine manufacturing was discovered along with heroin at a house in Batavia Township. Following up on leads, deputies contacted two people at the residence on Butcher Road Thursday morning and found, in plain view, a suspected meth lab. After obtaining a search warrant, more meth production was located.
A 42-year old man was taken into custody at the scene. No name was released while the incident remains under investigation.
