COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – More orange barrel driving is in store for motorists in Branch County the next three weeks, this time along several sections of I-69. The Michigan Department of Transportation announced the projects today and MDOT said it will start Friday, October 23 and continue through Saturday, November 14, 2015.
There will be single-lane closures on the northbound and southbound lanes of the highway for pavement repairs. That includes northbound I-69 from the Indiana state line to Fenn Road Exit 10, as well as from State Road mile marker 14 to Newton Road mile marker 15. The southbound I-69 repairs will happen from Pearl Road at mile marker 5 to mile marker 3 at Copeland Road.
According to MDOT, the maximum vehicle width is 12 feet through construction zones.
