COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Quite a few gas stations in Southwest Michigan, including some in Branch County, are expecting to post prices below the $2 a gallon mark beginning this weekend. It’s already happened in Sturgis.
Patrick DeHaan with GasBuddy.com says regular, on average, is selling for about $2.15 a gallon. Weakness in the oil market should push prices even lower. DeHaan says crude inventories remain high, but adds that other factors are at play, including refinery maintenance beginning to wrap up.
