COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The office of Coldwater Public Safety Director Mark Bartell on Friday afternoon issued a news release concerning information the Coldwater Police Department received regarded a possible bomb threat at Legg Middle School. Police along with school staff investigated the allegations and found they were not substantiated. According to the news release, it’s believed the threats arose out of a dispute between two students. Officials said there was no credible or reliable information that a bomb threat was actually ever made toward the school.
