COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council and the Coldwater Community Schools Board of Education will both meet in regular session later today,and both have light agendas. The school board meeting includes a “State of the School” presentation from Principal Dr Shawn Bishop and other staff from Max Larsen Elementary. That meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the district’s Administrative Service Center on Sauk River Drive.
The Coldwater City Council meets at 5:30 p.m. at the Henry L. Brown Municipal Building. In addition to the swearing-in of new First Ward Council Travis Machan, the council will get an update from City Manager Jeff Budd on street work in the city. While construction and paving is complete on Pierson and Montgomery Streets, Pearl Street is not expected to be reopened until the second week of December. Final water services and utility restoration have been completed, and curbs and sidewalks are starting to be poured.
