COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR) held its annual Christmas party and installation of board members on December 3 at The Broadway Grille, Coldwater. Matt Davis of the Battle Creek Area Association of Realtors installed the new officers and directors. Matt was recently named the 2015 Michigan Realtor of the Year by the state association.
The 2016 board members are: President, Debbie Lounds-Bowers; vice president, Jim Borden; treasurer, Jami Lind; secretary, James Bowers; directors, John Schroll, Pam Uetrecht, Brian George and Bruce Hauska; and affiliate director, Josh Jones.
Honored for their years of membership were: Diana Gruner, 25 years; and Jeanni Lint-Adamson and Marcia Poling, 30 years. Sherry Smith, Marilyn Ostrander and Kirk Bell were recognized for their service on the Board of Directors. President’s award was presented to Jim Bowers. Affiliate-of-the-year was presented to Century Bank & Trust. Realtor-of-the-year for 2015 was presented to Lois Keeton.
Following the awards presentations, the group held a charity auction where approximately $3,000 was raised for the Backpack Buddies program.
