COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The road closed ahead signs came down yesterday at several locations in downtown Coldwater where delayed street and water main construction projects were finally finished. Coldwater City Manager Jeff Budd was more than pleased on Monday to say that they were able to open the Clay and Hanchett Street intersections for Pearl Street. According to Budd, that allows access to CVS Pharmacy, Meridians Spa and the Post Office.
Budd says he understands it’s been a long process this fall and they’re looking forward to hopefully still paving the balance of Pearl Street sometime this week. After the new concrete pavement cures, he said the last portion of Pearl Street should be completely open by the end of the month.
