COLDWTER, MI (WTVB) – Do you live in Coldwater and have an old garage that needs torn down? As they say, it may be your lucky day. The City of Coldwater is seeking a Blight Removal grant that would fund the removal of between 5 and 7 dilapidated garages around town.
In order to apply, you have to be the homeowner and live at the property. You would also have to agree to a lien on the property for 5 years for the cost of the demolition. It’s anticipated the demolition work would be scheduled for this summer.

The deadline to get that application into the city is a week from tomorrow, Friday, January 29 2016.
