UNDATED (WTVB) – We learned on the 20/20 profile of the Cindy Gamrat and Todd Courser scandal that it broke up her marriage, but Courser is still with his wife. Both the disgraced lawmakers were interviewed for the show along with their former aides Keith Allard and Ben Graham. Both aides are suing their ex-bosses for wrongful termination and violating whistle-blower protection laws.
Removing Cindy Gamrat and Todd Courser from office cost the state $77,000. Those do not include the costs involved in reprinting the election ballots that were made useless when the state ordered the special election. That cost another $10,000. If you include those costs, the running total settles at $59,500.
