COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Although the Sunday’s rain and warm temperatures melted away most of the artwork, Coldwater’s annual Icefest Saturday appeared to be a huge success. There were large crowds to watch the ice block carving at the Four Corners Park and the Coach Eby Youth and Family Center, as well as walking downtown to look at 18 pre-carved musical themed sculptures.
Over 200 people participated in the first ever Pub Crawl involving 6 downtown bars and restaurants. The evening was capped off with a sold out show Saturday night at the Tibbits Opera House featuring the Fleetwood Mac tribute band “Rumours”.
Icefest was coordinated by the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce.
