COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A two car collision on the southwest side of Coldwater around 5 p.m. yesterday included one of the SUV’s rolling over, trapping the driver. City police are still investigating the crash at the intersection of Butters and Garfield Avenue.
The 48-year old Coldwater man who was behind the wheel of the car that was discovered tipped on its side was helped out of the wreckage when the Coldwater Fire Department rescue squad and their jaws of life arrived after being requested by city police. He was transported to the Community Health Center of Branch County by Lifecare Ambulance for treatment of what was described as a minor head injury.
The driver of the other car was a 42-year old Coldwater woman. No names have yet been released by Coldwater police.
