ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – The latest gas station robbery in the area came early yesterday morning at a Shell Spee-D-Mart. This one is located at Angola in Steuben County, Indiana. Authorities say it happened around 12:45 a.m. Sunday at the business on CR 200 W north of I-69.
Sheriff’s deputies say the suspect entered the store, displayed a firearm, and demanded money from the clerk. The bandit then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen headed southbound from the store. A K-9 track was attempted but was unsuccessful.
The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 5’6” to 5’9” in height, with a slim build and wearing a ski mask with only two holes cut out for the eyes, a black zip up sweatshirt, dark colored pants, and light colored gloves.
