COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Cassie Phillips was recently named the Community Health Center of Branch County (CHC) Employee of the Month. She has been an employee of CHC since August of 2005. Cassie is currently the office manager of the CHC Litchfield Family Practice. She has previously managed other medical offices, and worked as a medical assistant and office clerk.
Cassie cares about the patients and her fellow staff members. According to her nominator, Cassie steps up to the plate and goes the extra mile to take care of patients. Her attitude is excellent; if something goes wrong she finds a way to fix it. She willingly goes to other clinics to fill in; she helps out with computer issues when necessary, she is willing to switch days off and she helps out with community events. She is compassionate and caring to the patients.”
Originally from Quincy, Cassie now lives in Homer with her significant other, Justin and two children, Mason (14) and Londyn (2 ½) and stepson, Dylan. She enjoys being outdoors, playing sports, and scrapbooking. She is active in the community and has volunteered at several events: Relay for Life, Diabetic Health Fair, and her children’s sporting events.
